The Salmon

The Salmon is a unique hybrid concept based in Oslo, Norway, functioning as both a salmon producer and a modern Scandinavian seafood restaurant. 


challenge.

The challenge was to build a brand identity that felt authentic, local, and recognizable, while maintaining a clean Scandinavian aesthetic. I developed the rebranding and digital presence by translating Scandinavian cultural cues into a minimal, functional design. The logo merges simple geometry with subtle nods to Viking heritage and the salmon form. The typography features a clear hierarchy, using a primary font for readability and an accent font to add character. The color palette is intentionally vibrant and appetizing, featuring rich orange, fresh green, and sunny yellow. Together, the typography, color, and graphic elements create a consistent visual language designed to work seamlessly across packaging, signage, menus, social media, and key digital touchpoints.
